Man Declines to “Date Unattractive Women” and Won’t Accept “Less Than the Best”

Kevin, a TikToker from Fife, Scotland, spoke to The Sun about his expectations in relationships. While most people wouldn’t want to commit to someone they aren’t sure about, Kevin’s standards are significantly higher than most. Physical appearance is key for him. “I’m not into ugly women,” he declared, adding, “I’m not Brad Pitt, but I know I can attract sensible women.”
Kevin has a specific vision of his ideal partner: long hair and a curly figure, although he doesn’t like ponytails. Admitting that it’s difficult to find someone who fits that description, he admits: “It’s harder to find someone if you’re just looking for a high-end look. Your search becomes much more demanding and other men are probably after them too. But I’m not willing to settle for second best. I know I might be alone for a while.”
Even though Kevin is currently in a relationship (as of 2023), he has had his share of dating experiences. He had a brief relationship with someone he met on TikTok in late 2022, but it ended after just a month.
Kevin, who goes by @boerboelblade2 on TikTok, explained that he doesn’t drink or meet women in traditional ways like going to pubs or bars. He also expressed dissatisfaction with dating apps, saying many potential matches don’t respond to him and those who do aren’t as attractive as he’d like.
“I’ve lowered my standards before and I didn’t enjoy it. I won’t do it again,” he said. Kevin is happy with his choice to remain single and hopes to eventually find the perfect partner. He is often asked why he is single even though he “looks decent” and has a steady income. He explained: “A lot of men are single because they choose to be and refuse to settle down. It’s a lifestyle choice.”
