Horror as fire breaks out on plane carrying 176 people
It comes just a month after a series of crashes
South Korea’s aviation industry is once again under the spotlight as a fire breaks out on a passenger plane carrying 176 people.
The incident has only just happened at Gimhae Airport in Busan, South Korea, as seen in footage shared on X or the burning plane.
The fire reportedly started at the back of the Air Busan low-cost carrier aircraft that had 176 people on board, leading to people evacuating for their lives.
The Airbus A321 was bound for Hong Kong, but never made it off the tarmac.
Everyone on board managed to evacuate safely after smoke detectors alerted the crew and occupants.
Yonhap news agency reported that one person has been injured, citing South Korean authorities.
This incident comes almost exactly a month after a Jeju Air Boeing 737 smashed into a wall at Muan International Airport killing 179 people.
The terrible Air Jeju crash only come days after the Christmas Day crash of Azerbaijan Airlines Embraer E-190 killing 38 on board.
