Shocking footage shows Delta Airlines flight flipped upside-down after crash landing in Toronto

Emergency services are dealing with an ‘incident’ after a Delta Airlines plane has crash landed at Toronto Pearson International Airport.

The airport has said in a statement: “Toronto Pearson is aware of an incident upon landing involving a Delta Airlines plane arriving from Minneapolis. Emergency teams are responding. All passengers and crew are accounted for.”

While AFA-CWA, the association of flight attendants, wrote on Twitter: “Our union is responding to an incident in Toronto with Delta Air Lines Endeavor Flight 4819. AFA crew were working this flight. Reports are there are no fatalities. Please do not speculate on this incident as everyone works to gather information and support those involved.”

Delta Flight 4819 took off from Minneapolis earlier today, and videos circulating online appear to show the aircraft flipped on its side on an extremely snowy runway.

Local media, including CP24, say at least eight people have been left injured as a result of the crash – though the severity of these injuries have not been confirmed.
