Passenger posts video inside Delta plane moments after crash
A passenger aboard the Delta Air Lines jet that crashed and turned upside down while attempting to land at Toronto Pearson International Airport yesterday has shared video footage of the interior of the wreckage. The passenger was a passenger on the flight.
After taking off from Minneapolis, Minnesota, Delta Air Lines flight 4819 experienced an inverted landing at Pearson Airport on February 17, at approximately 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time. The mishap occurred during an attempt to land at Pearson.
It is a miracle that there were no fatalities on board the plane, despite the fact that there were eighty people on board, including 76 passengers and four crew members. However, at least eighteen individuals were sent to the hospital with injuries.
Yesterday evening, Deborah Flint, the Chief Executive Officer of Toronto Pearson International Airport in Canada, issued a statement that said as follows: “We are very grateful that there was no loss of life and relatively minor injuries.”
The following statement was posted on Twitter by Delta News Hub: “Initial reports indicated that there were no fatalities.” A number of clients who had sustained injuries were taken to hospitals in the surrounding area.
Our top priority is to provide assistance to individuals who have been affected.
CNN released audio from air traffic control that was between the controller and the captain of another nearby jet. This comes at a time when investigators are beginning to piece out the specifics of how the tragedy occurred.
According to the controller, “LifeFlight 1, Medevac, just so you are aware, there are people outside walking around the aircraft there,” and the controller made the announcement.
In response, the pilot of the Medevac said, “Yeah, we’ve got it.” “The aircraft is in an inverted position and is on fire.”
A number of passengers on the trip have subsequently gone to social media, with one individual releasing film of themselves exiting the plane from within the jet immediately after it had flipped over.
Ashley Zook uploaded a video of herself to Snapchat, in which she presented the plane in an inverted position.
When my plane went down. I’m in the wrong mood.”
After that, she can be heard saying, “What the f**k is going on?”
The medical transport company Ornge stated that three persons received significant injuries, including a kid, a lady in her 40s, and a man in his 60s. The Independent said that the situation was reported by Ornge. Their true identities have not been disclosed as of yet.
This incident follows a terrible crash that occurred near Reagan National Airport in Washington, which occurred a month ago and resulted in the deaths of 67 people. The horrific accident, which occurred on the evening of January 29, and involved a passenger plane colliding with a Black Hawk helicopter, was the most catastrophic aviation disaster to hit the United States of America since the year 2001.
Any and all individuals who were engaged in this awful accident are in our thoughts and prayers.
