Set inside Luke Combs’ iconic Category 10 Bar, the festive special brought a full dose of Music City magic, blending performances, collaborations, and classic Christmas cheer.

Yearwood’s Playful Take on a Holiday Classic

Trisha stole the show with her spirited rendition of “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch”. Originally written for the 1966 animated classic How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Yearwood’s soulful, upbeat version brought a fresh, festive twist that delighted fans.

The timing couldn’t have been better. Last month, she released her new holiday album, Christmastime, featuring her studio take on “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch” alongside timeless favorites like “Candy Cane Lane” and “Blue Christmas.” The album also introduces an original track, “Merry Christmas, Valentine”, a heartwarming collaboration with her husband and fellow country star, Garth Brooks.

Christmastime marks Yearwood’s first full solo Christmas album since the 2016 duet project Christmas Together with Brooks, solidifying her place as a holiday music favorite.
