‘Britain’s sexiest window cleaner’ has women ‘throwing mud at their own houses’
Mark Heffron thought he was just plugging his window cleaning business, but the harmless snap in the sunshine attracted a lot of inquiries for a different type of service
A man the Daily Star has dubbed Britain’s sexiest window cleaner has been swamped with dirty messages from admirers after posting a photo online.
Hunky Mark Heffron, 33, shared a snap of himself in the sun in a figure-hugging T-shirt and joggers, which he captioned: “Perfect weather for cleaning windows.” But he was swamped with thousands of messages from women inquiring about his services and asking if he “does the insides”?
One woman wrote: “Chucking mud at my windows,” while another joked: “BRB just sacking my window cleaner.” Others were more forward, with comments like: “Does he cover all areas, asking for a friend” and “I don’t know what he’s cleaning but mine’s very, very dirty”.

Another person wrote: “How much for full house? You can do inside as well if you like, have a brew make yourself at home.” One social media wag quipped: “Definitely not just the windows dripping on him at work.”
Another person requested: “Front and back please,” while someone else asked: “Do you do the insides?”
One even asked: “Does he clean women? If so, what’s your availability?”
Ex-boxer Mark, from Oldham, Greater Manchester, set up his own business Heffron Multiclean after hanging his gloves up last year.

He told the MEN his fiancée Rebecca was initially annoyed at the attention from ‘thirsty housewives’, but she now finds it funny and the post is still getting comments a month on, which has given a boost to his business.
Mark, a father-of-two, said: “At first I thought it was crazy. But I haven’t been able to keep up with them because I am up at 5am, train until 7.30, then get ready for work until 5 and then get home and go to the gym again, so I have my hands full every day.

“It’s been really funny in a way. Rebecca was getting a bit annoyed at them at first but now she finds it funny. Everyone is joking about it. A friend has actually just texted me now to ask if it’s Mark the sexy window cleaner.”
Not everybody found the attention funny, though, and some social media users called out the double standards of women ogling over a hunky bloke.

One wrote: “Look, I get the banter. But if this was a photo of a woman and it was men making these type of comments….. come on ladies let’s wheel it in a bit. It’s a bit embarrassing.”
