Barron Trump tells pals about his political views

Not surprisingly, the Trump family has been in the news for the past week or so after Donald Trump was re-elected to what is perhaps the most powerful position in the world.

Trump declared victory convincingly, which may or may not surprise you, depending on your political perspective. He will now lead US politics for another four years from the White House.

As it became evident that the Republicans had won the 2024 election, more than just the previous and future president was in the spotlight. When Trump gave his victory address in Florida, his wife Melania and their son Barron joined him on stage, and their presence undoubtedly generated conversation.

During the most recent election campaign, Melania and Barron remained mostly hidden; the former since she is, well, ostensibly, in New York to support him, and the latter because he is now studying there.

Readers will recall that Melania was a constant and unwavering presence during Trump’s prior election campaigns, but 18-year-old Barron is only now starting to experience the glare of the intense spotlight that is unavoidably on his well-known father.

After his appearance with his father last week, which followed the confirmation of Donald Trump’s successful campaign to become just the second person in US history to serve two non-consecutive terms as president, a lot was written about Trump’s youngest son.

On the internet, a picture of Barron voting for the first time ever went viral, and there were rumors that the kid will run for president when he is old enough to do so legally.

Although it is clear that Barron would follow in his father’s footsteps in all things political, sources indicate that the 18-year-old has remained reticent when asked about his opinions and the candidates he supported by his pals at New York University.

Trump’s political beliefs

Barron’s close friends at NYU’s Stern School of Business have reportedly been eager to get him involved in political discussions, but the future president’s youngest son says he “doesn’t support any party,” according to the Times of India.

As hard as it may seem, Barron’s “neutral” stance is reportedly impressing a number of Republican officials, some of whom are supporting the notion that he might eventually seek to run for the White House’s top seat himself (Barron would be eligible in 2044).

Furthermore, it has been alleged that during the final phases of his election campaign, Barron actively assisted his father in deciding which podcasts and television programs he should participate in to spread his message.

In late October, Trump senior advisor Jason Miller told Politico’s Playbook Deep Dive podcast, “Barron has been very involved in selecting or recommending, I should say, a number of the podcasts that we should do.”

Hats off to the young fellow, I must say. The internet has been rocked by his recommendations, all of which have proven to be absolute ratings gold. He did a fantastic job.

Barron prefers to assist with his campaign more generally, as Donald himself disclosed earlier in 2024. Sometimes he’ll tell me, ‘Dad, this is what you have to do’,” Trump explained.
