According to her, the design is so bad that she has to fight back tears whenever she looks at it.<\/p>\n<p>In her viral video, Marie explained that she originally got a banana tattoo on her finger about a year ago. However, it quickly faded \u2014 something she expected since finger tattoos often require multiple touch-ups.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut this one faded completely, immediately after I got it,\u201d she said. \u201cYou couldn\u2019t even tell what it was. I didn\u2019t even count it as a\u00a0tattoo.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>So when her boyfriend booked an appointment with a talented tattoo artist, Marie decided to tag along and get her banana tattoo re-done,\u00a0Unilad\u00a0reports.<\/p>\n<p>Things took a turn when she arrived at the shop. She quickly realized that no one there spoke English, and most of the conversation was in Spanish, which she couldn\u2019t understand.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI did not know what was going on,\u201d she admitted.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the language barrier, she assumed a simple tattoo wouldn\u2019t be an issue. She showed the artist a picture of what she wanted, and he began freehanding the design.<\/p>\n<p>At first, Marie wasn\u2019t too worried \u2013 until she saw the finished result.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am trying not to cry,\u201d she recalled. \u201cI know these are small, silly little goofy tattoos, and maybe to you, it doesn\u2019t matter how they look, but I actually care.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-167109\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-main.newsner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2025\/03\/28085331\/Screenshot-2025-03-28-at-08.53.18.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"658\" height=\"880\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Credit: TikTok \/ Marieaarm.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>She explained that she\u00a0<em>loved<\/em>\u00a0her original banana tattoo, making the disappointment even worse.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI mean, hopefully, it\u2019ll fade as much as the first one,\u201d she added, revealing that she wasn\u2019t taking care of it in the hopes that it would wear away.<\/p>\n<p>When she finally showed the camera her new ink, it was clear why she was upset. The updated banana tattoo had minimal detail, and according to Marie, was barely recognizable.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a joke,\u201d she ranted. \u201cYou can\u2019t even tell it\u2019s a banana. It is the ugliest thing I\u2019ve ever seen in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>To make matters worse, her boyfriend\u2019s tattoos turned out\u00a0<em>perfectly<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 but they were done by the shop owner. Marie later emailed the owner with photos of her tattoo, and he offered to fix it once it healed. I barely see a difference. The first one wasn\u2019t cute anyway,\u201d one commenter wrote.<\/p>\n<p><strong>While Marie\u2019s frustration is understandable, it seems like opinions are split \u2013 some think it\u2019s a disaster, while others believe it\u2019s just a quirky little ink mishap.
