As brothers and sisters, we frequently argue, slander one another, provoke rage in one another, etc. However, in the end, your siblings are the ones who will always be at your side.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I myself am fortunate to have both sisters and brothers, and each of them and I have a really special relationship.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Simply put, regardless of my mood or the degree of our current amity, there is nothing I would not do to assist them if they needed me.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s perhaps why this specific story connected with me on a deep level. It is about Chris Garafola, a Vermont native, and Brittany, Brittany\u2019s older sister, who has Down syndrome.<\/p>\n

It goes without saying that as they matured into adulthood, their friendship only grew stronger. As a result, when Chris met Tatiana, the love of his life, and later proposed to her, he knew that Brittany would undoubtedly play a significant role in their wedding.<\/p>\n

Tatiana and Chris agreed that they should wait to get married until Brittany could be present to witness their nuptials. Brittany\u2019s immune system was weak because of her illness, so she had to obtain her COVID-19 shot before she could go to any social events with other people.<\/p>\n

Brittany received her vaccination in February 2021, allowing Chris and Tatiana to start planning their wedding.<\/p>\n

Chris, a male model, uploaded a video to his YouTube channel in late March of the same year in which Tatiana could be seen speaking with Brittany on FaceTime.<\/p>\n

The news that Brittany\u2019s younger brother was getting married astounded her, but what Tatiana then asked her just left her dumbfounded.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd you know what I wanted to ask you? Can you be my maid of honor?\u201d\u00a0Tatiana can be seen\u00a0asking\u00a0in the video. Brittany burst into tears of elation, responding: \u201cYes, I can.\u201d<\/p>\n

So it was that in April of 2021, Chris and Tatiana tied the knot as Brittany watched on from her position as maid of honor.<\/p>\n

The newlyweds then revealed that they had surprised Brittany with a unique ring to mark the special day.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s been my best friend since day one and even once I\u2019m married, it won\u2019t change,\u201d Chris said.<\/p>\n

Needless to say, the photos of Chris, Tatiana, and Brittany went viral online. The sheer amount of love encapsulated in the pictures is enough to melt even the hardest of hearts.<\/p>\n
