Nevertheless, scant information has been disclosed regarding the specifics of the assault and the injuries inflicted by Mr. Dick.<\/p>\n<div id=\"quads-ad28933\" class=\"quads-location quads-ad28933 \" data-lazydelay=\"3000\">\n<div data-widget-host=\"revcontent\" data-pub-id=\"196472\" data-widget-id=\"286099\" data-widget-rendered=\"true\">\n<div class=\"sbn-widget-container\" data-nosnippet=\"true\">\n<div class=\"sbn-widget-container rc-uid-286099 rc-widget-container rc-desktop\">\n<div class=\"sbn-widget-body rc-widget-body\">\n<div>\n<div class=\"rc-item\">\n<div class=\"sbn-native-item  rc-sponsored\">\n<p>Furthermore, Mr. Dick\u2019s political background has been a point of perplexity even prior to his arrest, as the Texan serves as a Republican while contributing $30,750 to support Democrats in the 2024 election, including a notable $25,000 donation to the Community Justice PAC, which aims to elect Democratic judicial candidates.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement to Houston Public Media, a spokesperson for the Houston Police Department provided additional details regarding Mr. Dick\u2019s arrest, noting, \u201cIt was about 5:40 a.m. on March 7; a 39-year-old female reported that she had argued with him and was pushed to the ground and punched,\u201d the spokesperson stated. He subsequently secured himself in the bathroom.
