He was walking toward his helicopter when he quickly stopped and went back to the first lady to give her parting peck.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The\u00a0<span data-track-module=\"internal-body-link\">White House<\/span>\u00a0didn\u2019t say why the couple split up.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">But Barron Trump, their son, lives in\u00a0<span data-track-module=\"internal-body-link\">New York City<\/span>\u00a0and Melania may have been headed there to spend her birthday evening.<\/p>\n<div class=\"artSplitter mol-img-group\">\n<div class=\"mol-img\">\n<div class=\"image-wrap\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" id=\"i-ad81af3a7dfc4c66\" class=\"blkBorder img-share\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2025\/04\/26\/22\/97735509-14651451-image-a-10_1745703290884.jpg\" alt=\"President Donald Trump kisses first lady Melania Trump before boarding Marine One\" width=\"634\" height=\"423\" data-gallery-handler-attached=\"true\" \/>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"viewGalleryText-NXaet\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"imageCaption\">President Donald Trump kisses first lady Melania Trump before boarding Marine One<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Trump told reporters on Friday the couple would celebrate her birthday on Air Force One.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">An aide carried a giant bouquet of pink flowers off the plane and placed it into the first lady\u2019s motorcade.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The meal served on Air Force One included a chocolate coin for dessert with the seal of the first lady.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">The Trumps left the White House on Friday morning, flew to Rome to spend the night and attend the pontiff\u2019s funeral on Saturday at the Vatican. They left Italy as soon as the service concluded and landed back in the United States Saturday evening.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Melania Trump had changed out of her funeral clothes on the flight.\u00a0 She came off the plane wearing black pants, shirt and flats with a Burberry trench coat on over it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">\u2018Oh she\u2019s gonna have a great birthday. She\u2019s got a working birthday,\u2019 the president told reporters Friday on Air Force One on the flight to Rome.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">\u2018I\u2019ll take her for dinner on the Boeing. I\u2019ll take her for dinner on Air Force One,\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">And he conceded: \u2018I haven\u2019t had time to buy presents. It\u2019s been pretty busy.\u2019<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Melania donned black all weekend.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">She wore Dolce and Gabbana for the funeral service, complete with a veil, lace gloves and a diamond cross necklace.
