On 02.05 we lost our baby girl, but I\u2019m sure she\u2019s in the arms of our Almighty Father and in a beautiful place to play,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0their statement reads.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe memories we spent together will remain in my memory and I will never forget your joy that spreads to everyone around you. The 11-year-old\u2019s mother, Thays Brand\u00e3o,\u00a0told Brazilian\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/g1.globo.com\/sp\/sao-paulo\/noticia\/2025\/05\/03\/nao-sabemos-o-que-a-matou-diz-mae-de-millena-brandao-ao-criticar-upa-e-dois-hospitais-por-onde-atriz-passou-pastas-da-saude-apuram.ghtml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">outlet G1<\/a>\u00a0that doctors suspected dengue fever or perhaps a brain tumor but never determined the exact cause.<\/p>\n<p>A mass was discovered later and will be biopsied, the outlet reported.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe got worse, with two to three cardiac arrests per day. She had 13 arrests in total,\u201d her mother\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/g1.globo.com\/sp\/sao-paulo\/noticia\/2025\/05\/03\/nao-sabemos-o-que-a-matou-diz-mae-de-millena-brandao-ao-criticar-upa-e-dois-hospitais-por-onde-atriz-passou-pastas-da-saude-apuram.ghtml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">told<\/a>\u00a0G1.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe had never had that before. There was one day when she had seven respiratory arrests. They only did a CT scan, and the doctors said they saw a 5-centimeter mass in her brain,\u201d Thays explained.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut they don\u2019t know if this mass was a tumor, a cyst, an edema, a clot\u2026 because they couldn\u2019t open her head to see. And now that she died, they\u2019re going to do a biopsy to find out what was in her brain.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Heartbreakingly, on Friday of last week (May 2) she was confirmed to be brain dead, and her parents consented to having the machines sustaining her life turned off, the mother explained.
