They first connected as friends, but it wasn\u2019t long before Samantha started realizing she had deeper feelings.<\/p>\n<p>To her surprise, Josh admitted he felt the same way.<\/p>\n<div class=\"atd_pages\">\n<article class=\"atd\">Once they began dating, they opened up about being in a\u00a0<em>&#8220;mixed-orientation&#8221;<\/em>\u00a0relationship \u2014 meaning each of them identifies with a different sexual orientation.<\/p>\n<p>Now living in Los Angeles, the couple officially became husband and wife at a courthouse. They both described the day as\u00a0<em>&#8220;so exciting&#8221;<\/em>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"article_image_wrapper\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.tbdcdn.com\/uploads\/2025\/05\/07\/107967-thatviralfeed.com-large-603153.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/div>\n<\/article>\n<section class=\"ad_outer_main\">\n<div class=\"ad_outer_sw\">\n<div class=\"ad_outer_sub\">\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"atd_pages\">\n<article class=\"atd\">Samantha looked thrilled as she posted on TikTok just before their big moment:\u00a0<em>&#8220;I&#8217;m marrying a gay man. And we&#8217;re literally at the courthouse right now. We&#8217;ve just obtained our marriage license and it&#8217;s so exciting.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Still, not everyone bought into their love story. Some accused them of being in a\u00a0<em>&#8220;lavender marriage&#8221;<\/em>, a term used in the LGBTQ+ community for marriages that are more about appearances or protection than love.<\/p>\n<div class=\"article_image_wrapper\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.tbdcdn.com\/uploads\/2025\/05\/07\/107967-thatviralfeed.com-large-603154.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/div>\n<\/article>\n<section class=\"ad_outer_main\">\n<div class=\"ad_outer_sw\">\n<div class=\"ad_outer_sub\">\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"atd_pages\">\n<article class=\"atd\">But the couple pushed back on that idea. Josh told Business Insider:\u00a0<em>&#8220;I&#8217;m 100% fulfilled by our marriage. So to say we&#8217;re in a &#8216;lavender marriage,&#8217;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;I think, takes away what this really is, which is just people who love each other for who they are and not what they are.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;A lavender marriage feels like a marriage of convenience versus a marriage of just true pure love like ours.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>And when curious viewers asked about their intimacy, Samantha didn\u2019t shy away. She posted another TikTok explaining it all and said:<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;We do it the good old-fashioned way. Yep.
