I also felt like a fraud because of how much I changed my identity when chatting with loved ones,\u201d explains the freelancer, based in Staffordshire, England.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt wasn\u2019t that I couldn\u2019t make my mind up, but rather my identity shifted,\u201d One day I felt like I was a lesbian, yet days or weeks later, I\u2019d feel more aligned with bisexuality. My sexuality was fluid.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It wasn\u2019t until she stumbled upon the term \u201cabrosexual\u201d in an online forum that everything clicked.<\/p>\n<div id=\"newsner-2056337339\" class=\"newsner-article_inside_content\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"newsner-75b08c6f1e2c56869699c7fec45df6bb\" class=\"newsner-75b08c6f1e2c56869699c7fec45df6bb newsner-amp_article_inside_content\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cFinally,\u201d she writes, \u201cI felt seen.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-what-is-abrosexuality\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is abrosexuality?<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthline.com\/health\/abrosexual#:~:text=Abrosexual%20is%20a%20term%20that,no%20sexual%20attraction%20at%20all.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Healthline<\/a>\u00a0reports that abrosexual \u2013 a lesser-known\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.newsner.com\/tag\/lgbtq\/\">LGBTQ+<\/a>\u00a0identity \u2013 is a kind of sexual fluidity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSomeone who\u2019s abrosexual finds that their sexual attraction shifts often: they might identify with the term \u2018gay,\u2019 and later feel attracted to people of all genders, and then feel little to no sexual attraction at all.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Elaborating on the identity, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.newsner.com\/tag\/health\/\">health<\/a>\u00a0and wellness provider writes, \u201cTerms like homosexuality, bisexuality, heterosexuality, and pansexuality refer to the genders of the people you\u2019re attracted to. The term \u2018abrosexuality\u2019 is different because it doesn\u2019t specify a gender \u2013 it simply refers to the fact that your sexual attraction shifts over time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Offering her personal experience on her ever-shifting attractions, Flint shares, \u201cI love the person, rather than their gender so it doesn\u2019t matter if my sexuality fluctuates while I\u2019m with them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHowever, even after explaining this, there\u2019s always some people who enjoy demanding that I \u2018pick a lane\u2019 so that my identity doesn\u2019t offend them. I want people to know that, just because you don\u2019t know or understand an identity, doesn\u2019t make it less authentic.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-what-does-abrosexuality-look-like\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">What does abrosexuality look like?<\/h2>\n<p>One of the most important things to understand about abrosexuality is that it doesn\u2019t follow a single pattern.
