Recently a 21-year-old patient didn\u2019t connect with anything on the standard menu. Their taste buds also change, and due to the medications and the treatments they receive.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">One thing this hospice chef has noticed, however, is that patients with cancer \u201cget a sweet tooth.\u201d<\/h3>\n<p>Also, most of the patients are sensitive to salt.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFood is a powerfully emotive medium \u2013 it can summon childhood memories and create new lasting ones.
