Not one doctor did the scans or blood tests I begged for whilst crying on the floor in agony.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cInstead, they dismissed me. They gaslit me, told me it was nothing, made me feel like I was overreacting. They refused to scan me. They refused to investigate. They REFUSED to listen. One even told me that it\u2019s \u2018all in my head.\u2019\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-11\">\n<div id=\"ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-106\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>In addition to the devastating news that her cancer had spread, the child revealed that physicians had discovered potentially lethal blood clots in her lungs.<\/p>\n<p>She went on to complain about the NHS\u2019s flaws, saying,\u00a0<strong>\u201cThey could have done something before it got to this stage.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-13\">\n<div id=\"ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-107\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>\u201cThey can say it\u2019s terminal all they want. They can tell me I\u2019m going to die. But after taking 17, SEVENTEEN weeks to even figure out what was wrong with me, why the f*** should I believe them?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A month later, on her 25th birthday, O\u2019Connor disclosed that she had miscarried and received an incurable cancer diagnosis in a matter of months.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-14\">\n<div id=\"ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-108\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>\u201cI have what people consider the worst disease known to man, but I\u2019m still able to smile, laugh and be myself,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0she penned.<\/p>\n<p>O\u2019Connor then tied the knot with her partner, Adriano, just two weeks ago, writing in her final post on Instagram:\u00a0<strong>\u201c09.05.2025. The day I married the love of my life.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-15\">\n<div id=\"ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-109\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>\u201cWe are very sorry to hear the news about Georgia\u2019s death and offer our sincere condolences to the family,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0said a representative for the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in response to the heartbreaking news.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cWe appreciate this a very difficult time, but when and if the family want to raise any concerns with us, we\u2019d urge them to get in touch.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-18\">\n<div id=\"ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-117\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Tributes have since been flooding in for the star, including from her former promoter, Ben Shalom\u2019s Boxxer, who wrote:\u00a0<strong>\u201cWe are heartbroken by the passing of Georgia O\u2019Connor. A true warrior inside and outside the ring, the boxing community has lost a talented, courageous and determined young woman far too soon,\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>reports\u00a0BBC.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cGeorgia was loved, respected and admired by her friends here at Boxxer.
