A man, after the death of his father, decided to put his mother in a nursing home, thinking it was the best option. Unfortunately, he rarely visited, and his mother never found happiness there.<\/p>\n
One day, he received a call informing him that his mother\u2019s health had declined significantly. Rushing to the nursing home, he found her looking frail and emotionless. When he entered the room, she made a few final requests. She said, \u201cI frequently felt like I was going to suffocate and needed new fans,\u201d and added, \u201cI went to bed starving on several occasions since the food had beyond its expiration date.\u201d<\/p>\n
The son, shocked, asked why she hadn\u2019t told him these things sooner. With a calm voice, she said, \u201cI know I will die, but I think of you when your children won\u2019t want you near them either\u2026they will bring you here.\u201d She looked directly at him, her words filled with painful wisdom. \u201cYou receive out of anything that you put into it.\u201d<\/p>\n
