According to an autopsy, she died from smoke inhalation.<br \/>\nThe post read: \u201cWords can not describe what has happened within our community today. We have experienced a feeling that no department wants to go through. Words can not express the way we truly feel.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-3\">\n<div data-type=\"_mgwidget\" data-widget-id=\"1761866\" data-uid=\"0bf17\">\n<div id=\"mgw1761866_0bf17\">\n<div>\n<div class=\"mgbox card-media\" data-template-type=\"container\">\n<div class=\"mgheader\">\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-3\">\n<div id=\"trendsparknews.com_responsive_1\" data-google-query-id=\"CIONtvu47I0DFTwSigMd3pca8g\">According to Shawna Burwell, Carter\u2019s cousin: \u201cHer 21st birthday was yesterday, and on Facebook, she had posted what a great birthday and this morning on Snapchat I\u2019d seen \u2018loving these mommy moments\u2019 and she had the baby laying on her chest.\u201d<br \/>\nCarter\u2019s obituary read: \u201cShe loved every child she came in contact with and they loved her. Her greatest moment was becoming a mom.\u201d<br \/>\nA GoFundMe page set up to help Carter\u2019s baby and her family has raised over $30,000 as of Saturday evening.<br \/>\n\u201cIt has been unbelievable to witness the amount of support that our community has given not only to the family but to everyone involved in this tragic event.
