That is an egregious abuse of the bench,\u2019 Leavitt said at the White House.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018This judge cannot, does not, have that authority. It is the opinion of this White House and of this administration. And that\u2019s why we\u2019re fighting this in court. And it\u2019s very, very clear that this is an activist judge who is trying to usurp this president\u2019s authority,\u2019 Leavitt said.<\/p>\n<p>She added: \u2018Under the Alien Enemies Act the president has the power, and that\u2019s why the the deportation campaign will will continue. And this judge, Judge Boasberg, is a Democrat activist.
