Keep reading to know more.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Meghan Markle\u00a0has launched her new lifestyle brand, As Ever. In its short lifespan, the brand has been at the center of a few\u00a0controversies. The latest issue involves a bottle of orange blossom honey.<\/p>\n<p>Many internet sleuths are\u00a0suggesting\u00a0that the honey may be from the Savannah Bee Company. The company itself sells 340 grams of the product for $18, while Markle\u2019s brand As Ever sells 255 grams for $28 in limited edition bottles.<\/p>\n<p>This strategy, however, is not new or uncommon. Brands often have the same supplier and their package and brand recognition is what determine the price. However, since Markle has her detractors, people have a few things to say about all of it.<\/p>\n<p>Markle has been vocal about her brands and how she aims to introduce joy in peoples\u2019 lives with her brand. She said before of the brand, \u201cAs Ever, for me, is an extension of how I love. Through thoughtful gestures and small details, I hope this collection brings you as much joy as it does for those I hold close.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>There were also claims by people who said As Ever\u2019s herbal teas were repackaged products from\u00a0The Republic of Tea, a company which is well known for tea, which is also responsible for producing the Bridgerton\u00a0and\u00a0Downton Abbey\u00a0teas for Netflix.<\/p>\n<p id=\"meghan-markle-called-out-after-fans-discover-williams-sonoma-products-685d4cfcdcc60-png__700\">Amateur sleuths on the internet theorized that the honey being sold by As Ever, Williams Sonoma, and the Savannah Bee Company are all selling the same honey in different packaging and at different price points.<\/p>\n<p>Savannah Bee Company is thought to be the original seller of the honey. They sell the honey for $18 a bottle while Williams Sonoma\u2019s Bridgerton-branded line of honey sells for $23. And Meghan\u2019s limited edition bottles cost $28 a bottle.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.newsner.com\/tag\/honey\/\">honey<\/a>\u00a0was sold out soon after it was listed on the website by Markle, which showed how fans were willing to pay top price for the product. One person\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/MEIRL762347\/status\/1937489803089481876\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">wrote<\/a>\u00a0how the item did not have to be made in-house, writing, \u201cThe jam, honey, and crepe mix on Markle\u2019s As Ever shop page are listed in the script as Brand: \u201cas-ever.\u201d This doesn\u2019t mean it\u2019s manufactured in-house, though. She\u2019s only stocks about 50 items of each product (that\u2019s why they sell out so fast), and she buys from a third party source and slaps her label on them. Here\u2019s an example of something she might buy. Crofters is a legit brand and offers organic fruit jams, jellies and spreads. BTW, apricots are sourced from Turkey.\u201d<\/p>\n<p id=\"meghan-markle-called-out-after-fans-discover-williams-sonoma-products-685d4cfcdcc60-png__700\">This is not the first time her brand has been in hot water. Earlier this year, after the brand logo became public, Porreres, a small town in Mallorca, Spain, was not happy. Porreres mayor Xisca Mora pointed out how the logo looked just like the town\u2019s coat of arms. She\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.boredpanda.com\/meghan-markle-called-out-williams-sonoma-as-ever-products\/?utm_medium=social&amp;utm_source=facebook&amp;utm_term=bp_669419&amp;utm_campaign=bored-panda&amp;utm_content=image&amp;fbclid=IwY2xjawLPKMdleHRuA2FlbQIxMABicmlkETFuQ1NRZDFxZkZIVFVyVHR4AR7AcEn-OlZBbUwzM7lSWM5iOneuSBxo3_UnvMjhBsJyxzOSadgxi7OHyPpqMg_aem_txS81pD2wZURoEWYNJcSSQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">said<\/a>, \u201cThey are the same, except the birds are a little different, and they use different colors, but they are nearly identical.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do you think of peoples\u2019 reactions to Meghan Markle\u2019s brand?
