She wasn\u2019t on her doorstep as usual, which raised concern among those who regularly saw her each morning.<\/p>\n<p>When they went to check on her, they made a horrifying discovery\u2014Louisa was lying dead inside her home. She was found with blood coming from her ear and her underwear pulled down around her ankles.<\/p>\n<p>Police at the scene discovered semen and palm prints, which could not be analyzed properly at the time since DNA testing did not yet exist. An autopsy also revealed serious abrasions on her face. Investigators believed they were caused by someone forcefully pressing a hand over her mouth.<\/p>\n<div class=\"article_image_wrapper\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.tbdcdn.com\/uploads\/2025\/07\/02\/108323-thatviralfeed.com-large-605328.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"atd_pages\">\n<article class=\"atd\">Speaking\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/news.sky.com\/story\/man-92-found-guilty-of-rape-and-murder-nearly-60-years-ago-13388853\">to<\/a>\u00a0Sky News, Detective Inspector Dave Marchant from Avon and Somerset Police explained:\u00a0<em>&#8220;The original investigation was, by all accounts, massive.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Over 19,000 palm print eliminations were taken from men and boys in the Bristol area and beyond.
