Mills\u2019 mother then noticed her son.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cIt blended so well I looked harder and realized what was there,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0Joy Mills, the girl\u2019s mom, told\u00a0The Dodo.<\/p>\n<p>There was a snake, stretched out on the tree trunk, looking straight at the preening seventh grader.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-12214\" src=\"https:\/\/dailypositiveinfo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/g3.webp\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 616px) 100vw, 616px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dailypositiveinfo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/g3.webp 616w, https:\/\/dailypositiveinfo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/g3-241x300.webp 241w\" alt=\"\" width=\"616\" height=\"767\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>Mills\u2019 mom told her to come over to her right away, and at first she didn\u2019t understand why.<\/p>\n<p>Because her mother didn\u2019t want to frighten her, Mills didn\u2019t find out about the snake photobombing until she was safely away from the tree.<\/p>\n<p>She didn\u2019t realize she was sharing her joy with an improbable companion.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cWhen she realized what was behind her she was speechless,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0Mills said.\u00a0<strong>\u201cWe couldn\u2019t believe it when we looked at my phone at the pics and just how close he was and we had no idea.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Apparently the snake was envious of all the attention Mills was getting and decided he needed some of his own.<\/p>\n<p>Mills will have the best back-to-school photos (and the best tale) in her class thanks to a friendly snake.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Brooke Mills is just like the countless other students who can\u2019t wait to take a\u00a0\u201cfirst day of school\u201d photo at the beginning of each new academic year.
