He lost half of his face, his teeth were crushed, and he suffered a broken arm and punctured lung.<\/p>\n<p>His family didn\u2019t think he would survive but this little fighter made it through and has since had to endure around 50 surgeries.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-56935\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-main.newsner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2020\/08\/05214301\/dog4.jpg\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1320px) 100vw, 1320px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cdn-main.newsner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2020\/08\/05214301\/dog4.jpg 1320w, https:\/\/cdn-main.newsner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2020\/08\/05214301\/dog4-768x569.jpg 768w\" alt=\"\" width=\"1320\" height=\"978\" \/><figcaption><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gofundme.com\/f\/rkca7yv6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Gofundme<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Instead of being praised for getting through such a horrific attack this sweet little boy now has to endure cruel comments from children and adults.<\/p>\n<p>His teaching assistant said when Ryder first started school even the adults would stare at him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen we go to the park, there\u2019s a child who points and screams \u2018monster\u2019 at him before running away.\u201d mom Brittany said, according to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/news\/us-news\/boy-whose-face-ripped-rottweilers-22368417\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">The Mirror<\/a>\u00a0newspaper.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOut shopping the other day someone shouted \u2018ew\u2019 at him. It\u2019s hard and it breaks my heart as a parent that after everything he\u2019s been through, people aren\u2019t always nice over something he can\u2019t help.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-56715\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-main.newsner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2020\/08\/05214343\/ryder.jpg\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cdn-main.newsner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2020\/08\/05214343\/ryder.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/cdn-main.newsner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2020\/08\/05214343\/ryder-768x432.jpg 768w\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" \/><figcaption><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gofundme.com\/f\/rkca7yv6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Gofundme<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cBut he is such a fighter, he doesn\u2019t let anything hold him back.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Ryder\u2019s survival is described as a \u2018miracle,\u2019 as even doctors didn\u2019t expect him to make it.<\/p>\n<p>Now the 31-year-old mom from Granite Falls is scared of her son starting school.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe wears glasses and a cap and sometimes he\u2019ll hang his head to hide his face. But I just tell him every day that he\u2019s beautiful, different is beautiful and it\u2019s ok to be different.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/d2kw0licpa1moo.cloudfront.net\/7226595_159474993952498_updates.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><figcaption><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gofundme.com\/f\/rkca7yv6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Gofundme<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cI just reassure him as much as I can but I\u2019m absolutely terrified about when he goes to school.
