Addressing the tens of thousands of people, Trump said Kirk was a \u201cgreat American hero\u201d and a \u201cmartyr\u201d for freedom. I\u2019m sorry,\u201d Trump said. \u201cI am sorry, Erika.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCharlie\u2019s angry\u2026 he\u2019s angry at me,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>During the event, Trump sat in the VIP seating. And he was joined by an unexpected guest when Elon Musk appeared.<\/p>\n<p>The billionaire played a significant role in Trump returning to the White House earlier this year. He was thereafter put in charge of DOGE, tasked with reducing US government spending and cutting jobs.<\/p>\n<p>However, Musk and Trump had a falling out, and the Tesla billionaire left the political spotlight.
