Her comments, viewed by many as misguided, quickly went viral and drew sharp criticism online.<\/p>\n<p>In recent years, several famous figures including Robert De Niro, Gabrielle Union, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Cher have all publicly shown support for their transgender or nonbinary children, becoming advocates for acceptance within the entertainment world.<\/p>\n<p>When asked about the topic, Stallone shared her perspective, though many felt her words crossed a line and lacked empathy.<\/p>\n<p>During an appearance on\u00a0<em>The Katie Miller Podcast<\/em>, host Katie Miller asked Stallone:\u00a0<em>&#8220;Why do you think it is that so many kids in Hollywood now and kids of, you know, celebrity parents are transgender? Is there something in the water in Hollywood?&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>According to a clip shared by Fox News Digital, Stallone replied:\u00a0<em>&#8220;I just think Hollywood is, you know, it&#8217;s all about expression. So, you know, however you want to express yourself. If you feel like a cat today, you&#8217;re a cat. And it&#8217;s so loosey-goosey.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<div class=\"article_image_wrapper\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.tbdcdn.com\/uploads\/2025\/10\/23\/109101-thatviralfeed.com-large-608594.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/div>\n<div>\n<em>&#8220;I don&#8217;t think that we&#8217;re really understanding that these kids are not our accessories. They&#8217;re little human beings that need structure. And structure is really important for them because it helps their brain organize everything.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>She continued by saying:\u00a0<em>&#8220;I think growing up in a Hollywood home, there&#8217;s really no structure because you have this thing going, and you&#8217;ve got private planes. And you&#8217;ve got all these giant homes with chefs and secretaries and assistants and, you know, housekeepers and nannies.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;And there&#8217;s just too much of everything. It gets really confusing for a little person.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;And it&#8217;s OK what you decide to be as an adult. But raise them just with good common sense. I mean, my daughters were tomboys. They preferred to wear pants than dresses, you know. And they loved sports. But I never said, &#8216;Oh, you&#8217;re a boy now.&#8217; I just said, &#8216;You love to play sports, you love to hang out with boys, that&#8217;s awesome.'&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Jules Gill-Peterson, a professor of gender, sexuality, and women\u2019s studies, has dismissed such claims, calling the notion that transgender children are a \u201cmodern trend\u201d both uninformed and inaccurate.<\/p>\n<div class=\"article_image_wrapper\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.tbdcdn.com\/uploads\/2025\/10\/23\/109101-thatviralfeed.com-large-608595.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/div>\n<div>\n<em>&#8220;What I uncovered in the research is that children and youth have been finding access to trans medicine and transition as long as there has been medical transition \u2013 as far back as the 1930s and 40s,&#8221;<\/em>\u00a0she previously told The Guardian.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;But even prior to that, children certainly lived trans lives where they would socially transition in childhood.
