The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.newsner.com\/tag\/teen\/\">teen<\/a>\u00a0was suffering from \u2018severe\u2019 lung damage, which doctors believed had been caused by his vaping addiction.<\/p>\n<p>Jayden took up\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.newsner.com\/tag\/vaping\/\">vaping<\/a>\u00a0when he was just 12 years old to \u2018fit in.\u2019 He would finish a 10ml bottle of vape juice every two to three days. This is equivalent to about 50 cigarettes a day!<\/p>\n<p>Jayden recalled the entire ordeal and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.unilad.com\/news\/uk-news\/teen-vaping-cough-up-blood-uk-warning-145143-20251103?fbclid=IwY2xjawN2wKJleHRuA2FlbQIxMABicmlkETF3aE5JUmZIOEw1ZXdLT1ZtAR5JvAFxBVM9qkrPOU2tNCueCjFILW1Ro2_3YyGHNq4m4IW2yLJq20rkDf1cEw_aem_FTFBqV8Wl6aYCmw_Pk6G9Q\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">said<\/a>, \u201cI was terrified. I never thought vaping could cause all this.<\/p>\n<div id=\"newsner-494064518\" class=\"newsner-article_inside_content\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"newsner-79f80184082de14dc96b0a4dd7740d45\" class=\"newsner-79f80184082de14dc96b0a4dd7740d45 newsner-amp_article_inside_content\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cIt started off in Turkey. The night before I had a bit of chest pain but didn\u2019t really think much of it whatsoever. I woke up the next morning, had a quick go on my vape and just as if I had a bit of a chesty cough,\u201d he recalled.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI went to cough a few times and it felt a bit phlegmy so I went to spit it out. I saw that it was\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.newsner.com\/tag\/blood\/\">blood<\/a>\u00a0and this put me in shock. I didn\u2019t know what to do myself,\u201d he shared.<\/p>\n<p>He shared how he adopted his vaping habit, \u201cEveryone was doing it around me. I felt like it was kind of to fit in but it just felt normal to do it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was vaping everyday. I wouldn\u2019t really put it down to be honest. It\u2019s just a bad habit really. Once you start, obviously it\u2019s highly addictive, it\u2019s hard to stop.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>His mom took to\u00a0Facebook\u00a0to warn other parents, she wrote, \u2018please consider vaping because you never think it\u2019s going to happen to you\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Jayden\u2019s experience is not an isolated event. Now the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.newsner.com\/tag\/health\/\">World Health Organization<\/a>\u00a0has also issued warnings against vaping, pointing out that it is causing a \u2018new wave\u2019 of addiction to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.newsner.com\/tag\/smoking\/\">nicotine<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The WHO\u2019s Dr Etienne Krug\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/news\/item\/06-10-2025-who-tobacco-trends-report-1-in-5-adults-still-addicted-to-tobacco\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">said<\/a>, \u201cThey are marketed as harm reduction but, in reality, are hooking kids on nicotine earlier and risk undermining decades of progress.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to the numbers provided by WHO, over 15 million children across the world are now using e-cigarettes.<\/p>\n<div id=\"newsner-238510819\" class=\"newsner-article_inside_content\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"newsner-02bdec3c98e44a0998a8553e5a64fe94\" class=\"newsner-02bdec3c98e44a0998a8553e5a64fe94 newsner-amp_article_inside_content\"><\/div>\n<p>And in a more worrying statistic, it seems children are on average nine times more likely to vape than adults.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Share this with others who might find this information useful.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Parents are being warned about vaping yet again as a young teenager was coughing up \u2018pints\u2019 of blood and the cause is believed to the the habit.
