Airplane bathrooms are usually cramped, bleach-scented, and anything but romantic.<\/p>\n<p>Add the inevitable walk of shame back to your seat while everyone watches, and it\u2019s easy to see why this \u201cadventure\u201d is not quite what it seems.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-how-often-people-try-to-join-the-mile-high-club\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">How often people try to join the mile high club<\/h2>\n<p>Then, of course, there\u2019s the cabin crew, professionals who\u2019ve seen it all and have long since stopped finding it funny or sexy.<\/p>\n<p>Mandy Smith, a flight attendant and author of\u00a0<em>Cabin Fever: The Sizzling Secrets of a Virgin Air Hostess<\/em>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=oFYvysHHi7E&amp;t=28s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">now reveals<\/a>\u00a0how often passengers try their luck based on what she\u2019s seen, and what happens when they\u2019re inevitably caught.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the trope being widespread, Mandy says it happens far less often than you might imagine. Mandy shared a particularly awkward story about a determined young traveler:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne of my friends had a situation where there was a young lady of 18 who was quite determined to join the mile-high club, and she just grabbed anyone,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Even after the crew intervened and sent her back to her seat, she wasn\u2019t finished.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe sat back down in her seat, and then about half an hour later she was back up with another chap trying to join the mile-high club again,\u201d Mandy recalled.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"rll-youtube-player\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/oFYvysHHi7E\" data-id=\"oFYvysHHi7E\" data-query=\"start=28&amp;feature=oembed\" data-alt=\"What If Someone Dies On Board?
