She recently came in a video on YouTube for a channel titled\u00a0<em>The Patient Story<\/em>\u00a0to narrate\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ncvFv-vQKg4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">her story<\/a>. But when she sought professional medical advice, she was told, she was probably \u2018overworked and overusing\u2019 her knee.<\/p>\n<p>Doctors told her not to worry about it and, while Kelly was worried about it she decided to believe them because she could still walk and partake in her\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.newsner.com\/tag\/cheerleaders\/\">cheerleading<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-181386 entered lazyloaded\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-main.newsner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2025\/11\/28152542\/fnd.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"383\" height=\"419\" data-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/cdn-main.newsner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2025\/11\/28152542\/fnd.png\" data-ll-status=\"loaded\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gofundme.com\/f\/zsbce-support-kellys-fight-against-cancer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">GoFundMe<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The pain did not go away so Kelly went back to the doctors for another check up. This time they did more tests and an MRI scan which revealed that she had a tumor. The 18-year-old was shocked since she had not been expecting such news.<\/p>\n<p>After a few more appointments, Kelly was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, an aggresive type of bone\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.newsner.com\/tag\/cancer\/\">cancer<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Kelly then began chemotherapy, and other treatments in tandem to deal with her tumor. However, the entire ordeal left her with uncertainty about her future plans.<\/p>\n<p>She eventually had surgery to get the tumor removed and shared that she felt encouraged that she had made it through the entire thing,<\/p>\n<p>There has been a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gofundme.com\/f\/zsbce-support-kellys-fight-against-cancer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">GoFundMe<\/a>\u00a0set up to help Kelly and her family with the financial costs which have come with her diagnosis.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Share this with others so they can also wish Kelly well.
