Pete Davidson once had as many tattoos as he had celebrity ex-girlfriends, but the comedian and actor has undergone a huge change.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Earlier this year, we reported on how the 32-year-old had decided to burn off the majority of his body ink.\u00a0Davidson<\/a> previously had in excess of 200 tattoos over his body, but he revealed in January 2025 that his view on most of them had shifted.<\/p>\n

\u201cI honestly never thought that I would get an opportunity to act and I love it a lot,\u201d\u00a0Davidson<\/a>\u00a0said on\u00a0Late Night with Seth Meyers<\/em>, adding his career in Hollywood partly inspired his decision to remove the majority of his tattoos.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt takes like three hours \u2013 you have to get there like three hours earlier \u2013 to cover all your tattoos. For some reason, people in movies, they don\u2019t have them that much.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI made a lot of those decisions before rehab, so I have the dumbest tattoos,\u201d\u00a0The<\/em>\u00a0King of Staten Island<\/em>\u00a0star previously said on the\u00a0Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI got a collection of cartoons smoking blunts like a Muppet smoking a blunt, the Tootsie Pop owl smoking a blunt.\u201d<\/p>\n

Inspired by sobriety to laser off his tattoos, Davidson admitted that it\u2019ll take quite some time to have them removed \u2013 hopefully it\u2019ll be finished by the time he\u2019s 40, according to\u00a0E! News<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A recent picture posted by his girlfriend, Elsie Hewitt, has offered a timely update on his journey to \u2018burn off\u2019 his collection of ink during\u00a0$200,000\u00a0worth of painstaking procedures.<\/p>\n

The picture, posted to social media on Sunday, shows Davidson holding his newborn daughter, Scottie, and gives fans a look at the comedian\u2019s body, notably free from a lot of its former ink.<\/p>\n

Elsie captioned the photo: \u201cMY BEST FRIENDS.\u201d<\/p>\n

Davidson and his girlfriend, said to have been dating since March, welcomed their first child on December 12.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy best work yet, I am absolutely overflowing with love and gratitude and disbelief,\u201d Elsie wrote beneath the first pics of the baby. Davidson commented beneath: \u2018wu tang forever.\u2019<\/p>\n

As for Davidson\u2019s goal of removing his extensive collection of tatts, the 32-year-old said back in January that he plans to keep two or three of them.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been burning them off. They burn off a layer of your skin, then it has to heal for six to eight weeks,\u201d he told Jimmy Fallon earlier this year.<\/p>\n

The procedure in question reportedly has to be done at least 12 times, and requires the individual to avoid sunlight.<\/p>\n
