On Sunday, Dec. 21, the exes reunited alongside the\u00a0Air<\/em>\u00a0star’s son Samuel, 13, for some shopping and lunch at Brentwood Country Mart in Los Angeles before the upcoming winter holiday. A source tells PEOPLE that the former couple “seemed fine” and were mainly focused on showing up for the teen.<\/p>\n

“They met up and went shopping together. Jen and Ben seemed fine,” the insider tells PEOPLE. “The focus was mostly on Sam.”<\/p>\n

“He was excited and chatty. They shopped for gifts in several high-end stores,” the source continues. “Jen asked a lot of questions and picked up gifts for Ben’s kids. They arrived and left separately.”<\/p>\n

The former couple was\u00a0photographed<\/a>\u00a0arriving at the Farmshop for lunch, with Lopez, 56, arriving separately from the father-son pair. The\u00a0Hustlers<\/em>\u00a0actress wore a brown and white polka-dotted dress with a cream sweater and brown boots.<\/p>\n

Affleck, 53, went for a casual look, wearing khakis, a cream button-up and a matching blazer. He paired his look with brown boots. The\u00a0Hypnotic<\/em>\u00a0star’s son wore cream-colored sweatpants and white sneakers.<\/p>\n

In August 2024, the “Get on the Floor” singer\u00a0filed for divorce<\/a>\u00a0from\u00a0The Accountant 2\u00a0<\/em>star, more than two years after the couple\u00a0married<\/a>\u00a0in July 2022, multiple sources confirmed to PEOPLE at the time.<\/p>\n

Affleck and Lopez maintain a good relationship, despite their split. Their blended family still has a tight-knit relationship. Affleck is dad to\u00a0Violet<\/a>, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel with ex-wife\u00a0Jennifer Garner<\/a>, 53, while Lopez and ex\u00a0Marc Anthony<\/a>, 56, share 17-year-old twins\u00a0Max and Emme<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“The kids are\u00a0still really close<\/a>,” an Affleck source told PEOPLE back in September. “They have the same groups of friends, they see each other and they talk all the time. They make sure the kids know they get along. The most important thing to both of them is raising their kids in\u00a0a supportive environment<\/a>, so they plan to stay in each other\u2019s lives.\u201d<\/p>\n
