Christmas is a time when we revisit our favorite songs, and there is perhaps no song that is as popular as \u2018Jingle Bells.\u2019 The popularity of the song is not limited to geography, and it has even been translated into various languages.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now, one version is stealing hearts all over the world.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mongolia is not the first place that comes to your mind when you think about Christmas; however, now the popular Christmas song \u2018Jingle Bells\u2019 has become an instant classic the world over.<\/p>\n

Artist Ummet Ozcan created a version of the popular Christmas\u00a0song<\/a>\u00a0\u2018Jingle Bells\u2019, which has now racked up millions of views and earned him thousands of fans.<\/p>\n

The festive song combines the magic of Mongolian throat singing with techno and the classic 150-year-old beloved\u00a0Christmas<\/a>\u00a0song. The rendition has been called one of the \u2018best version so far\u2019 by many.<\/p>\n

The version changes some of the lyrics, changing the ones which read \u2018dashing through the snow\u2019 and simply repeating \u2018Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way, and then adding a fun local twist by singing, \u201coh what fun it is to ride in a Mongolian open sleigh.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dutch DJ Ozcan, who is of Turkish heritage, was asked by many fans to release the full version of the song after he only released a small teaser. This prompted him to release a full version which features people in Mongolian garb dancing to the song.<\/p>\n

The song went viral, and Ozcan even released a Spotify version so people can listen whenever they wish and add it to their Christmas playlists.<\/p>\n

Part of the song\u2019s appeal is the unique practice of \u2018throat singing\u2019, which is common in Mongolia. A herder then makes a melody by singing two notes simultaneously.<\/p>\n

Antoher hilarious moment was when the official \u2018Santa Claus\u2019 account on Instagram endorsed the track by sharing it and writing, \u201cThe elves are rocking to this in the workshop right now. I keep having to remind them to stop dancing and finish up the last of the gift requests!\u201d<\/p>\n
