One of those that has been investigated is Nancy Guthrie\u2019s son-in-law, Tommaso Cioni, the husband of\u00a0<em>Today<\/em>\u00a0show host Savannah\u2019s sister, Annie.<\/p>\n<p>He was the last person to see Nancy alive on Janunary 31, and there have been questions about his involvement.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-police-clears-nancy-guthrie-s-family-in-kidnap-case-in-new-update\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Police clears Nancy Guthrie\u2019s family in kidnap case in new update<\/h2>\n<p>Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos told the Daily Mail he \u201cdid not want Cioni to be wrongly scrutinized just because he was the last person to see Nancy before her disappearance.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Further, just hours before, law enforcement sources told NBC News that police were \u201cleaning away\u201d from considering family members as suspects.<\/p>\n<p>Now, authorities have released new information about the possible involvement of Guthrie\u2019s family members regarding her abduction. Nancy\u2019s family, including Tommaso has been cleared of any suspicion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Guthrie family \u2013 to include all siblings and spouses \u2013 has been cleared as possible suspects in this case,\u201d Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said Monday, per the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/02\/16\/us-news\/sheriff-finally-clears-nancy-guthries-family-in-kidnap-case-but-still-doesnt-reveal-a-suspect\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NY Post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe family has been nothing but cooperative and gracious and are victims in this case,\u201d he added. \u201cTo suggest otherwise is not only wrong, it is cruel. The Guthrie family are victims plain and simple.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The FBI has increased the reward for information about Nancy Guthrie\u2019s disappearance from $50,000 to $100,000.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our thoughts and prayers go to the Guthtie family.
