Keep reading to find out how it all went down\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Rachel, a cashier at Celina 52 Truck Stop in Tennessee, welcomed her\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.newsner.com\/tag\/son\/\">son<\/a>, Cash Jamal Buckman, into the world on February 17, 2024.<\/p>\n<div id=\"newsner-149c7b17a230a356d37aacd940458fa2\" class=\"newsner-149c7b17a230a356d37aacd940458fa2 newsner-incide_content_once\">\n<div id=\"newsner-873009268\" class=\"newsner-incide_content_once\">\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article-thumbnails\" class=\"trc_related_container tbl-trecs-container trc_spotlight_widget\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>However, what caught people\u2019s attention was the fact that Rachel and her fianc\u00e9, Paul Buckman, are both white, while Cash appears to be Black.<\/p>\n<p>The truck stop shared a photo of the happy family on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.newsner.com\/tag\/facebook\/\">Facebook<\/a>, congratulating Rachel on her new arrival.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCongratulations to our cashier Rachel and her\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.newsner.com\/tag\/fiance\/\">fianc\u00e9<\/a>\u00a0Paul Buckman on their baby Cash Jamal Buckman being [born] on Saturday at 6:18pm,\u201d the post read.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-147496\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-main.newsner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2024\/03\/26091605\/Screenshot-2024-03-26-at-09.54.04.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"542\" height=\"550\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Credit:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/CelinaTruckStop\/posts\/pfbid09ikgDC3XaJuMkprE119vw7c3Z3EVsGKZy4SYKQfTRNciRcps8eChqVcGDjDyNeQml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Facebook<\/a>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>However, instead of receiving well-wishes, the post garnered comments questioning Cash\u2019s paternity, with some suggesting that Paul might not be the biological\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.newsner.com\/tag\/father\">father<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div id=\"newsner-852500650\" class=\"newsner-article_inside_content\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"newsner-5b3e10e95a0063816955fc70c128b7ce\" class=\"newsner-5b3e10e95a0063816955fc70c128b7ce newsner-amp_article_inside_content\"><\/div>\n<p>In response to the speculation, Celina 52 Truck Stop edited their post, adding: \u201cYes, Paul is the father. I AM sure he looks just like his dad. Where is he?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Another added: \u201cDefinitely needs a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.newsner.com\/tag\/dna-test\/\">DNA test<\/a>; what if they accidentally mixed up the kiddos in the nursery?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, some people expressed sympathy for Paul, with a further user commenting: \u201cI feel sorry for Paul, being duped like this is a whole new level of creep. Hopefully he\u2019ll wise up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rachel then decided to take matters into her own hands, sharing her alleged DNA results on Facebook to prove her ancestry.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor the haters saying that I [don\u2019t] have black DNA maybe this will clear it up straight from my ancestry DNA results !!!! The news only added fuel to the fire, leaving many eagerly awaiting the outcome of the investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Then, on March 24, the Celina 52 Truck Stop took to Facebook with what they called their\u00a0<strong>\u201cFINAL STATEMENT REGARDING CASH JAMAL BUCKMAN PATERNITY.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The post was direct and definitive \u2014 an attempt to put the swirling rumors and speculation to rest once and for all.
