His comments followed a warning from Trump. Speaking to reporters, the Pope made it clear he would not be intimidated.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have no fear of the Trump administration, or speaking out loudly of the message of the gospel, which is what I believe I am here to do, what the Church is here to do.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-i-thought-she-was-brave-but-i-was-wrong\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u201cI thought she was brave, but I was wrong\u201d<\/h2>\n<p>Trump didn\u2019t take Meloni\u2019s defense lightly.
