His sister, Shana Muldoon Zappa, has now offered further details as to the moments that immediately preceded the end of his life.<\/p>\n<p>Shana described her brother as the \u2018sunshine in every room\u2019 and the \u2018life of the party\u2019, explaining that he had been having a \u201cnormal morning coffee\u201d with his partner of two years \u2013 ex-entertainment lawyer and film producer Miriam Rothbard \u2013 when the fatal medical incident unfolded.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe went into the bathroom while she was on the\u00a0phone,\u201d Shana told the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.com\/tvshowbiz\/article-15749443\/patrick-muldoon-dead-denise-richards-bathroom.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Daily Mail<\/a>. \u201c<strong>\u2018<\/strong>And she just thought it seemed [like he\u2019d been in there] a little long\u2026it was probably 10 minutes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Shana continued: \u201cSo she went in and he was on the floor, not breathing. But by the time we got there, he was gone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to Shana, Patrick\u2019s father, Patrick Muldoon Sr, \u201cfell and fractured his shoulder\u201d attempting to rush to Patrick\u2019s home. He is currently in hospital receiving treatment.<\/p>\n<div id=\"newsner-2047855513\" class=\"newsner-article_inside_content\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"newsner-a7cb5f5a69b9a6ac14acdf8fbbb2a85f\" class=\"newsner-a7cb5f5a69b9a6ac14acdf8fbbb2a85f newsner-amp_article_inside_content\"><\/div>\n<p>Speaking to the sudden nature of his passing, Shana said that Patrick had appeared well the night before.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have videos the night before he was sending us and he was happy as can be,\u201d the surviving subling said. \u201cIt\u2019s just a shock.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s so\u00a0healthy. He\u2019s an ex-athlete. He goes to jiu-jitsu. He\u2019s a martial artist. He runs, he works out. It seems like he was in a highlight in his life. And then to just [die] suddenly, it\u2019s just unbelievable.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe just had this beautiful\u00a0Easter\u00a0together,\u201d Shana continued. \u201cI talked to him \u2013 he was supposed to have lunch with my husband yesterday. It\u2019s just all good old high stress of Hollywood and always on the go, certainly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The 48-year-old also claimed that there had been no warning signs, stating: \u201cThere was no other signs of anything.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo the good news is, it seems like it was sudden and there was no suffering. He didn\u2019t hit his head or anything.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, one person gets a heart attack every 40th second in the US.
