Before the tragic DC plane crash, American Airlines captain Jonathan Campos, 34, was excited about a family cruise. His uncle, John Lane, recalled their last conversation, where Campos sounded happy. Campos had always dreamed of flying, and his family was proud of his career,<\/strong><\/p>\n

The crash, involving Flight 5342 and an Army Black Hawk helicopter, killed Campos, First Officer Samuel Lilley, and flight attendants Ian Epstein and Danasia Elder. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the disaster, the deadliest in the U.S. in 16 years.<\/strong><\/p>\n
