alive.<\/p>\n<p>On day 54, her father finally got to hold her, and he cherished every second of it.<\/p>\n<p>Tru faced many challenges, but she began to make progress over time.<\/p>\n<p>She moved from the incubator to the crib on day 71\u2026 She would let nothing stand in her way.<\/p>\n<p>The 90th day marked the beginning of the end for this courageous little girl, as she was able to begin chronic lung disease, methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), retinopathy, two blood infections (including sepsis), a congenital heart problem, and seven blood transfusions all contributed to her lengthy hospital stay.<\/p>\n<p>Although Tru did not have an easy childhood, her narrative is incredibly moving nonetheless.<\/p>\n<p>People were eager to fight for Tru, and now she is a
