A heartbreaking moment was unknowingly captured by a grandmother just before a tragic hit-and-run claimed the life of three-year-old Scarlett Jensen on October 7, 2022. Scarlett and her two-year-old brother, Henry, were in their grandmother\u2019s care when a speeding Chevy Tahoe struck them in the family\u2019s private driveway in Oldtown, Idaho.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy mother was waving her hands, screaming for him to stop, and she tried to grab my children\u2026 but he was going too fast,\u201d recalled their mother, Samantha Jensen. \u201cScarlett was killed almost instantly, and my mom and Henry were critically injured.\u201d The driver fled but was later arrested and sentenced to ten years in prison.<\/p>\n
