Initially, she thought it could be chickenpox, and it only took minutes for her to realize it was something much more serious.<\/p>\n<p>The rash worsened and Sammy called the ambulance. \u201dHis mouth and tongue started swelling, and he threw up. We called 999, and as we waited for the ambulance, he could barely breathe. We had to turn him on his side,\u201d she shared with\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.examinerlive.co.uk\/news\/local-news\/now-nothing-boy-4-dies-31102810\">YorkshireLive<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>When they arrived at the hospital, Jaxon\u2019s condition was already critical. He passed away in the morning of February 17.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dI can\u2019t believe it,\u201d Sammy said through tears. \u201dHe was fine just hours before. There were no signs, no symptoms of meningitis. It just came out of nowhere.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dHe was our miracle baby,\u201d the devastated mother continued. \u201dWe spent seven years trying to have him, going through multiple rounds of IVF. After three miscarriages, he was our last hope.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The parents of young Jaxon Knowles are now trying to raise awareness about meningitis<\/h2>\n<p>\u201dIf we can help even one family, that would mean everything,\u201d dad Jordan said.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/boreddaddy.com\/man-ate-a-slug-after-a-dare-resulting-in-a-tragic-outcome\/\">symptoms<\/a>\u00a0of meningitis are sometimes hard to detect because they are common with other conditions. Our house is empty. Our world is empty.
