I was sure I would never experience anything like this\u201d, Oksana tells German news source\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.heftig.de\/oksana-kobletskaya\/?ref=fb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Heftig<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>But the fact was, this was only the beginning, and there was a bigger suprise that was yet to be revealed\u2026.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn1.newsner.com\/attachments\/images\/000\/265\/582\/newsner_default\/rutin11.jpg?1480511207\" alt=\"\" \/><figcaption><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pg\/odessafiver\/photos\/?ref=page_internal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Facebook\/Odessafive<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>When Oksana went to her ultrasound, she saw the doctor start to frown.<\/p>\n<p>And soon she received some incredible news.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I saw the shock on the doctor\u2019s face, my heart stopped for a moment,\u201d Oksana says, and continues:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThen I heard him mumble something along the lines of: \u2018You deserve to have a big house by the sea\u2026\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn1.newsner.com\/attachments\/images\/000\/265\/583\/newsner_default\/mirakel1.jpg?1480511464\" alt=\"\" \/><figcaption><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pg\/odessafiver\/photos\/?ref=page_internal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Facebook\/Odessafive<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Then the doctor explained: \u201cI can see five fetuses, maybe six. It\u2019s hard to tell.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It turns out Oksana was expecting five babies.<\/p>\n<div id=\"newsner-4698920eec3589ef6cfbeddbf8c3eb97\" class=\"newsner-4698920eec3589ef6cfbeddbf8c3eb97 newsner-amp_article_inside_content\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"newsner-1634312003\" class=\"newsner-article_inside_content\"><\/div>\n<p>As you can probably imagine, this is extremely rare.\u00a0Only 1 in 47 458 321 pregnancies results in quintuplets.<\/p>\n<p>While Oksana was still trying to process the news, the doctor ran around the hospital close to ecstatic.\u00a0Nobody at the hospital had ever seen anything like it.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn1.newsner.com\/attachments\/images\/000\/265\/591\/newsner_default\/lokala1.jpg?1480512259\" alt=\"\" \/><figcaption><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pg\/odessafiver\/photos\/?ref=page_internal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Facebook\/Odessafive<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>But for Oksana and Sergey, it wasn\u2019t all smiling faces.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt almost felt like a nightmare, as though I would wake up at any moment,\u201d remembers Oksana.<\/p>\n<div id=\"newsner-755d982caa65f9721a1e9f1e385a2b9e\" class=\"newsner-755d982caa65f9721a1e9f1e385a2b9e newsner-amp_article_inside_content\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"newsner-1779407521\" class=\"newsner-article_inside_content\"><\/div>\n<p>She and her husband couldn\u2019t help but worry: they realized that they would be forced to change all their plans for the future.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt takes time to process this kind of news. I mean, how would we manage to take care of so many children,\u201d, says husband Sergey.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn1.newsner.com\/attachments\/images\/000\/265\/585\/newsner_default\/dragningar1.jpg?1480511759\" alt=\"\" \/><figcaption><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pg\/odessafiver\/photos\/?ref=page_internal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Facebook\/Odessafive<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In her 30th week, Oksana went to the hospital and prepared for the birth.<\/p>\n<p>When she reached the delivery room, there were 8 doctors stood waiting for her.<\/p>\n<div id=\"newsner-319cd62fc35bb808b9e4aaf23273566b\" class=\"newsner-319cd62fc35bb808b9e4aaf23273566b newsner-amp_article_inside_content\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"newsner-2053885485\" class=\"newsner-article_inside_content\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cThe treated me like I was made of porcelain\u2013 they were extremely cautious,\u201d Oksana says.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn1.newsner.com\/attachments\/images\/000\/265\/586\/newsner_default\/hota1.jpg?1480511845\" alt=\"\" \/><figcaption><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pg\/odessafiver\/photos\/?ref=page_internal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Facebook\/Odessafive<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Oksana gave birth to three boys and two girls via C-section.<\/p>\n<p>The doctors were prepared for the worst, since this kind of pregnancy carries big risks.<\/p>\n<p>But when it was all over, the doctors could confirm that five healthy, happy babies had been brought into the world, although they were a little premature.<\/p>\n<div id=\"newsner-a00004f633dc5b7f5706381bab874f46\" class=\"newsner-a00004f633dc5b7f5706381bab874f46 newsner-amp_article_inside_content\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"newsner-1957092493\" class=\"newsner-article_inside_content\"><\/div>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn1.newsner.com\/attachments\/images\/000\/265\/587\/newsner_default\/barn1.jpg?1480511985\" alt=\"\" \/><figcaption><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pg\/odessafiver\/photos\/?ref=page_internal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Facebook\/Odessafive<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Babies Daria, Alexandra, Denis, Vladislav and David became instant celebrities.<\/p>\n<p>Today, the babies are 3 years old.<\/p>\n<p>The birth was historic \u2013 the babies were the first quintuplets born in Ukraine, reports\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/news\/world-news\/mum-who-gave-birth-quintuplets-8305812\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">The Mirror<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Oksana and Sergey seem to have embraced the challenge of taking care of such a big family.<\/p>\n<p>Wherever they go, people stop and greet them happily, fascinated by the babies.<\/p>\n<p>Recently the family has moved to a bigger apartment, which local authorities helped them organize.<\/p>\n<p>On her\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/odessafiver\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Instagram<\/a>\u00a0account,\u00a0Oksana shares photos of their \u201cfive treasures\u201d and the\u00a0quintuplets adorable big sister.<\/p>\n<p>Aren\u2019t they cute?<\/p>\n<p>Although things didn\u2019t quite end up the way this family planned, I\u2019m sure that they\u2019re going to have a bright and happy future!<\/p>\n<p>With so much love in their life \u2013 and the support of thousands of strangers \u2013 I\u2019m sure they\u2019ll be just fine.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When Oksana Kobletskaya, from Ukranian town Odessa, fell pregnant, she was overjoyed.
