Jax Taylor Breaks Silence on Brittany Cartwright Dating His Friend Amid Their Divorce

The Valley’s Jax Taylor shared the dramatic story of how he found out estranged wife Brittany Cartwright was hooking up with his close friend Julian—and how he feels about their romance today.

Jax Taylor wasn’t exactly pumped to learn his estranged wife Brittany Cartwright had moved on with one of his friends.

Several days after Brittany confirmed she hooked up with her ex’s pal amid their ongoing divorce, Jax revealed how he initially found out about the fling.

“We were sitting in my house, and her phone was on the coffee table,” Jax shared during the Nov. 14 episode of Bravo’s Hot Mic podcast. “And a message popped up, and I looked at it, and it was a simple message from Julian. But it was at night, and it was just a very weird message, and I called her on it. I caught her in a couple of lies, and then I got it out of her an hour into the conversation. She finally broke and told me.”

The Valley star said he was in “shock” after the discovery because he and Brittany had agreed not to date within their friend group.

“I don’t think I would have been bothered by it if it was somebody else that I didn’t know,” Jax—who shares 3-year-old son Cruz with Brittany—added. “There was a whole five or six months where I wasn’t seeing anybody, but this was going on.”
