When Sofia Vergara got a tattoo of Joe Manganiello’s initial on her wrist, she probably believed their marriage would last just like the ink.
However, after their split last year, the beautiful Colombian is now left with a “J” on her wrist. Luckily, she’s planning to change the meaning of the tattoo to honor her new boyfriend, Justin Saliman.
Now, insiders say that the 51-year-old actress, who never expected to find someone so great for her, is already discussing marriage and is excited about the possibility of a lasting future with Saliman.

In July 2023, fans were really surprised when Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello said they were getting a divorce after being married for seven years.
They shared a message together, saying, “As two people who care about each other a lot, we kindly ask for privacy while we go through this new chapter in our lives.”
Manganiello moves on
Just two months after announcing his surprising breakup with the Modern Family star, the 47-year-old Magic Mike actor was spotted with Caitlin O’Connor, who stars in HBO’s Winning Time.
An insider tells People that Manganiello and the 34-year-old O’Connor met at a party for the HBO show.
They first met in the hot tub and chatted the entire time! The source also mentions that in September 2023, they were just casually dating.
According to US Weekly, their relationship is no longer casual.
A source shared with the magazine in March 2024 that they are planning to get engaged soon and will begin trying for kids afterward. “Getting married is definitely something they see in their future.”
‘Didn’t want to be an old mom’
Vergara, who has a 32-year-old son named Manolo with her ex-husband Joe Gonzalez, explained that her decision not to have more kids at her age is the reason her second marriage fell apart.
“My marriage broke up because my husband was younger,” said Vergara, who turns 52 in July. “He wanted to have kids and I didn’t want to be an old mom. I feel it’s not fair to the baby. I respect whoever does it, but that’s not for me anymore.”
In October 2023, Vergara – a judge on America’s Got Talent – started dating renowned orthopedic surgeon Justin Saliman.
Saliman was previously married to actor Bree Turner, who’s best known for her role in the fantasy police drama, Grimm.
‘Talking marriage’
Promoting her Netflix show Griselda, Vergara spoke with the Daily Mail in February 2024 and expressed her interest in finding a life ”partner.”
“Now I need a husband,” she says before correcting herself: “No, I don’t need a husband; I want one. It doesn’t even have to be a husband. A partner.”
Now, sources claim the actor is “talking marriage” with 49-year-old Saliman.
An anonymous insider shared, “Sofia never expected to find someone who fits her so well. Justin has everything she looks for in a partner.”
The insider continued, “He’s good-looking, self-sufficient, intelligent, makes Sofia feel secure, and he’s not in the acting business… It’s easy to see why she’s thinking about marrying him!”
The source didn’t mention that Saliman’s first name is also the same as the tattoo on her wrist.
Speaking on The Talk (through Glamour) Vergara said of her ink, “This was Joe Manganiello’s initial…But now he’s gone…How lucky can I be that the guy I’m going out [with] has the same initial.” The award-winning actor then reminded the audience to “recycle.”
If Vergara marries Justin Saliman, he will be her third “J.”
