Fox News claimed the top spot in primetime and total day viewers for the seventh consecutive year, making it the highest-rated cable news network for the 21st straight year. Nielsen/MRI Fusion data reveals that Fox News attracted the most politically diverse audience in cable news, drawing viewers from all political affiliations.
Fox News achieved its second-highest share of the cable news audience, reaching 53% in total day for the 25-54 demographic. The network also commanded 55% of the primetime audience in total viewers.
